Named for their large, mule-like ears, these graceful deer are common throughout the Okanagan and can often be spotted at ABNC in the early morning or evening.

Mule Deer can jump 2 metres high and 8 metres far in a single bound. They also have a unique bouncing gait called 'stotting'.

Early morning or evening along trail edges and grassland areas. They're often spotted near the lower meadow.
