Nature-based learning for all ages
ABNC offers a range of educational programs for schools, community groups, and families — both on-site and offsite.
Summer Camps
Ages 4–12 · July & August · Tue–Fri
Hands-on, fun-filled 4-day camps covering local ecosystems, wildlife, crafts, outdoor games, and activities. Half-day (Growing Up Wild, ages 4–5), full-day (Nature Explorers, ages 6–8; Nature Scientists, ages 9–12).
Community Group Programs
At ABNC or at your location · April–October
Nature-based programs for schools and community groups. 2.5-hour sessions at ABNC with 4 rotating activities, or bring an ABNC interpreter to your organization for 1-hour presentations.
Virtual Presentations
Year-round · 45 minutes
Can't visit in person? Enjoy a virtual presentation on Owls of BC, Bats Out of the Darkness, or Watershed Exploration — featuring real specimens and live Q&A.
EcoPrograms
Ages 18 months – 18 years
Live animal encounters, outdoor games, educational hikes, and hands-on STEM activities covering local ecosystems and wildlife.
